Mesquite Readers' Choice Winners Announced

Once again Mesquite readers have named the businesses they choose as the "Best of Mesquite" in the Mesquite Local News Readers Choice Poll. The 2006 poll asked the questions of where to find the best food, fun, hair care and even your favorite family doctor.
Sheree Goessman, who works for the City of Mesquite won the random drawing of all entries to take home over $250 worth of prizes. She won a $40 gift certificate to be used at the Eureka Hotel and Casino, $40 worth of service from Shereen's Hair & Nails, $50 gift certificate from Delaney Studio including an 8 x10 print, a coupon valued at $30 from Computer Help and a gift certificate for two free nights stay at the Casa Blanca, Oasis or Virgin River Hotels.

Best Mexican Food is Los Lupes in the Bulldog Plaza.
Best Pizza is Bella Pizza In the brickyard Plaza.
Best Local Buffet is the Virgin River Buffet.
Best Breakfast is the Chuck Wagon Restaurant in the Virgin River.
Most Romantic Restaurant is Charmaine’s Steakhouse on the Blvd.
Best Dessert is Charmaine’s Steakhouse on the Blvd.
Best Prime Rib is The Chuck Wagon Restaurant Located in the Virgin River.
The winner for Best Burger goes to Buffalos.
The winner for Best Seafood is The CasaBlanca Buffet.
The winner for Best Fine Dining is Charmaine’s Steakhouse.
The winner for Best Ribs is Play-Off’s Sports Pub.
With a Tie for Best Fast Food the winners are Arby’s and McDonalds.
The winner for Best Golf Course is Wolf Creek.
The winner for The Loosest Slots is Eureka.
With a tie for first place the winners for Best Lounge or Nightclub is the Eureka and the CasaBlanca.
